Works great. Would like to see less "clutter" in the browse or search fields but ultimately find what Im looking to log.

Not pleased with this app

Not user friendly. Too many options to search through. Wont allow you to type in a search item like "coffee, 1 sugar, 1 cream" to get you there faster.

Good Start

Hoping for continued updates. Increase food data base, more customizable goal lines in other categories. Ways to combine foods, e.g. Ingredients in menu, meal, or sandwich for later quick entry. Quicker access to charts. Perhaps one chart with multiple data lines. Not much out there to track Cholesterol or fat.

Needs link between iPhone and iPad

Need data link between devices so data entered in one is seen by the other.

Im impressed

I find this app fairly easy to use and very helpful in tracking my dietary cholesterol, which I never had to do before. The interfaces are intuitive and streamlined. On the other hand, the food database is a bit chaotic. Recommendation to developers: organize search results with the simplest item (in the form of an ingredient, eg "raw chicken"), then combined items (chicken sandwich), then processed and fast foods. Anyway, I find myself relying on "recently viewed" and "custom foods" as well as the search function. I only log the parts of meals that could contain cholesterol or saturated fat, because Im not tracking total calories. But you can log everything and get more data. Overall, if you have to track cholesterol, this is a very helpful and convenient tool.

Cholesterol Trakcer, good but...

Good app for tracking not only cholesterol but MDR food values. Good graphics and generally easy to understand. It would benefit almost everyone to see just how much food they eat daily, and where they may be missing key nutrients. Negatives: 1. Almost unimaginable that it doesnt sync between iPhone and iPad! 2. Very clumsy way to find foods to add from the search list. As another reviewer wrote you cant just enter "coffee" without getting "coffee cake" and an endless list of other entries. You have to search through everything to find a simple entry.

Could be nice if not so bugged out. Ineffective as is.

Food search is a mess and creating custom foods results in the app crashing. If you do create a custom food, it will substitute a random other food in your daily log. Deleting it.

Great App

This app is easy to use, easy to customize and makes it easy to see where you are on or off track on your nutrition goals. It makes tracking fats and cholesterol fun.

Help please

Is there a way to see if these numbers such as saturated fats etc are healthy based on the calories you are imputing? If not, this feature could be quite useful. Without knowing a healthy baseline, these numbers might be useless.

Great app

I am finding this app to be very helpful in managing my extremely high cholesterol, go back to doctor tomorrow cant wait to show it to him. Love the graph, the weight tracker and all the foods are easily found sometimes and sometimes not so easily, but if you continue to look you can find most. My only problem is with no explanation it is hard to know How enter your own food choices. Like if something has 37 mg is it .37 or 37.00? A bit of help in that area would make this a great app. Thank you for having something so helpful for those in need. Some of us cant help numbers that are over 300 but it is so easy to cut way back and take your meds and hope to see a difference. Thank you.

Has helped me greatly in monitoring my food intake. Really helped me see just how much I miss treated my health in the past and it has helped make a healthier future.

Good choice

Very easy to use!

Not worth it

Not worth the trouble. Try putting in something as easy as skim milk, and you get everything but skim milk. Should be easier to put in your daily meals. Now I wont buy another app by just reading the reviews.

Time consuming to find foods

The food searches do not narrow as more information is added-it takes too long to find food and log it. Common foods people with high cholesterol eat are not in the data base such as almond milk and healthy cereal choices. The only use I have is too look up a food I am not sure about. Keeping a log in this app takes much too much time.

Too pricy for too little

Some foods I enter dont show up as exact. Like Snickers bar, you have small and king size but not 2 go size which is in between the sizes you have. Its 3.7 ounces and I can only enter 3 or 4 ounce and neither is exact. Also you NEED a bar code scanner option like many other apps have. A bar code scanner would make this product much easier to use.

It is a very good app, but I really wish that the information would load onto to health app on iOS 8

Not bad

The app needs barcode scanning so you can easily add foods to the list. Also, there should be a section for saturated fats goal as well. Saturated fats make big difference in cholesterol levels too.
