This is the worst

I have to track cal, triglis, & cholesterol. This app does not have even half the food loaded. It is a joke! Pain to try and use. Anyone know a better app?

Last Software Update Bad!!!!!

Since the last software update. The data transfer is null when emailing the txt file. Please fix the software to be able to transfer data to a txt file.

Not for the southwest

This app meets most of my needs as I have to track cholesterol and fat. I agree that some of the information does not match real world labeling, but I can work around it. Cannot believe that many of the foods we eat often in the southwest are not there (no fish tacos....really??? ).

I use with Wombats Glycemic Index App

I bought Wombats Glycemic Index app first and rated it at five stars. I use it every day. I bought their Cholesterol app primarily to gain a better understanding of fats, so I dont use all the features in this one, nor do I use it every day. I use the Cholesterol app maybe ten times a week, to look up foods and get a breakdown of the saturated, monounsaturated, and polyunsaturated fats they contain. For this purpose, I rate the app at five stars. I like the user interface on Wombats Glycemic Index app a tiny bit better, because the Cholesterol app requires an extra step (the way I use it) to look up a food and log a portion, but if I had purchased this app first, I might have liked its user interface best. I havent seen better user interfaces than Wombats in any other food tracker apps, but I hope Wombat will continue to improve their products. My recommendation would be to standardize the user interface and food database so that no matter which Wombat app I use, I get the same experience. Thanks!

Great app but needs an update!

Would be nice to see an update. Can be buggy when looking at detailed nutritional info and custom foods. Please update the already vast food database!

Just ok

I wish there was a way you could add your own foods and values for items not in the data base.

Very Good App

This is a very good app. My recently diagnosed cholesterol problem sent me to the App Store for a tool to monitor saturated fats and my needs have been fulfilled by this app. There are a couple of bugs but overall I am very happy with the app.

Great for new cholesterol watchers!

I am on the younger side of people who just got diagnosed with high cholesterol. I have purchased many apps with the hopes that the could help me figure this new way of life out! This one is by far the most useful one I have come across. The only thing I wish it would update is that we be able to control what is in the pie chart. I need to watch things like cholesterol, saturated fat, fat, and sodium at the same time. I wish I could make the screen show me these and not two types that dont effect cholesterol. But regardless, you can still check the numbers that you need to (and some you never knew existed). like I said, great for people who need to watch what they intake. :)

Excellent

This is so easy to use. And very accurate

Close to Perfect

Food barcode scanner, tied to recipes, and more restaurants... This would make it easier, more convenient and perfect!! Review Fat Secret Calorie Counter very easy to find foods

Awful

Will not accept input (incompatible with new IPad?)

Purine

Great if you can add purine level in information for gout. There is no other apps that tracks that right now.

Nice app

I would like to be able to sync between iOS devices.

Waste

The food selection is just not there. Its search engine MUST be refined. Just try to find KFC green beans, you get a list of 100 types of beans none that match what you ate. Broccoli and Carrots- GOOD LUCK. Im the average American, half the foods impossible to find. What about sushi or exotic foods. Forget it. Did I pay for this? Should have stuck with my fitness pal

Love It

I love this app! It is a great way to keep track of your fat and cholesterol (& calorie) intake! It is so easy to use. In addition, you can keep a list of your favorite foods and even add custom foods. I am so glad that I found this app. It really helps me keep track of what I am eating and is a lot better than keeping a paper journal, especially since it adds everything for you.

Good, Basic

I would like to see ability to add goals like total fat, sodium, etc. Food database is good. Could be better.

Does not work

After three days of adding custom foods because nothing I eat is on the list I discovered that the app is not adding numbers accurately. I noticed this first on the calories. Then I selected a custom food from my daily log and it came up with a completely different food item with dramatically different nutritional content. I would not recommend this to anyone. Wish I could get my three bucks back.

Good motivator

Like how you can track your progress over time. This provides feedback on how youre doing and how to adjust. Food database is good, but not great. Search engine is nowhere near a google search and needs improvement. But if youre looking to to track your nutrition intake, it does the job.

Cholesterol tracking good app

This is a very good method to track cholesterol. Has lots of foods with nutritional information already loaded. Custom foods are pretty easy to load but sometimes the title of the food changes when you review the food from the day before. Data stays the same, just the title is changed. Would be nice to see a goal line, like on the cholesterol, for calories and saturated fats. Overall, the best app Ive found

Not good

This app needs serious improvements to the food database. Worst downfall feature of the app and definitely not worth the money. Truly a 1 star,I couldnt submit my comment if it was a 1 star lol . Download Myfitnesspal for FREE and add cholesterol as something you want to track. Great app and the food library is AMAZING!! you can scan anything that has a barcode!! Download Myfitnesspal for FREE :)
