Finally, a quick, simple, and sleek way to track and manager your dietary cholesterol and fat intake! Cholesterol Manager is designed for people who want to reduce or track their cholesterol and fat consumption, such as people on heart-healthy diets, or anyone interested in health and nutrition.

With a few taps, you can create a dynamic log of all of your meals. Browse or use the fast search to select foods from a database of 600,000+ commonly eaten foods (including brand name and restaurant foods). Once logged, youll get a daily summary of your meals and their cholesterol, saturated fat, polyunsaturated fat, monounsaturated fat, and calorie content.

Set a cholesterol goal, and youll see a progress bar that indicated how much cholesterol youve consumed and how much you have left for the day. Go over your goal and the bar will turn red.

Pros and cons of Cholesterol Manager - dietary low fat tracker app for iPhone and iPad

Cholesterol Manager - dietary low fat tracker app good for

This app is actually really good! It has thousands of food items in its data bank and you can always add your own very easily. It has made me very aware of my intake and also of the types of food Im eating. Simple to use and very informative. The only drawback is that the height option is stuck at 5 5". 4 3/4 stars.
Recently found out I had very high cholesterol. this app best suits my need to monitor my nutritional intake. the food library is amazing. buy this app if you need to track your cholesterol .
Prettay, prettay, good. I found out I had super high cholesterol and I was thinking " I bet they have an app for that" and they did, it not only tracks cholesterol but pretty much all things nutrition, like calories, vitamins, fibre, etc.
Would be even better if you could set daily goals for the other nutrients like carbs or saturated fats. Love to know what I have room for
Nice interface. Big data base but it can be time consuming to sort through it. I use search and custom. My consumption is actually fairly low but this is a great way to keep track and stay aware.
When the doc (and the Mayo Clinic website) strongly suggested some dietary adjustments due to cholesterol #s I found this app. After a month of use, I have found it to be easy to use and informative. I couldnt imagine undertaking such a drastic lifestyle change without it.

Some bad moments

App looks good. Too hard to find foods needs a search function and favourite list so no need to type again. Not sure I have the patience to use. Sorry I paid for this app
Paid for the app only to find out that the best features require a subscription. Tracking body fat requires a subscription?!?!! Linking with Apple Health app requires a subscription. Within a minute of purchase I know I wont use it again. Thanks.
I just got the app today and I drink almond milk, yet it is not on the list. WTH!
I have to track cal, triglis, & cholesterol. This app does not have even half the food loaded. It is a joke! Pain to try and use. Anyone know a better app?
Since the last software update. The data transfer is null when emailing the txt file. Please fix the software to be able to transfer data to a txt file.
This app meets most of my needs as I have to track cholesterol and fat. I agree that some of the information does not match real world labeling, but I can work around it. Cannot believe that many of the foods we eat often in the southwest are not there (no fish tacos....really??? ).
